Enman Kesselring is Rutland City’s longest practicing Civil Engineering and Environmental Permitting Consulting Firm, serving the private and public sectors since 1982. We have a team of three professional civil engineers and support staff to address projects large and small. Our clients include commerce, industry, institutions, resort & recreation, municipal, real estate developers and single family home owners.
Our services take a project from concept through design including site layout and master planning, engineering surveys, water and wastewater, stormwater, erosion control, grading and drainage, roadways and parking lots. We provide consult for and preparation of state and local permit applications for stormwater, erosion control, water supply and wastewater disposal, shorelands, stream alteration and other permit programs. We also provide expert testimony for Act 250 Land Use Permitting and Section 248 Public Service Board Permitting.
Our staff’s regulatory experiences date to the early 1970’s, the inception of Vermont’s regulatory process. Over the years, we have seen the regulatory programs expand from wastewater (1970’s), to water supply (1990’s), to stormwater management (2000’s), and now with increased focus on water quality issues in Lake Champlain and the Connecticut River basins. Our depth of experience helps guide clients from project inception through the trigger points for state and federal permitting programs.
Our office has the capacity to take on large scale projects. When a project requires services outside the areas of our practice (i.e. structural, geotechnical, hydro-geology, wetlands, etc.) we’ve helped many clients realize success by partnering with other experts.
