Established in 2004, Rimrock’s Mountain Tavern in Stowe, VT is a local favorite for dining. It is a family owned Adirondack Style Tavern with a casual rustic décor and a warm friendly feel. Our menu is Local, Fresh, and Original. “We don’t try and reinvent the wheel at Rimrock’s, we just try and keep it running true everyday.” Specialty sandwiches, burgers, fresh salads, tacos, and lettuce wraps build the foundation, but it is the off-menu specials keep people coming back day after day. Beer connoisseurs will enjoy local favorites such as Heady Topper, Lost Nation, & Switchback Ale, but we have been known to carry a variety of beers from all over. There is something for everyone and we even have the mainstream domestic bottles for the avid sports fans.
In the summer, sit down to dinner or lunch on our outdoor patio and enjoy one of our signature cocktails. “There are no blenders here, all cocktails are shaken.” In the winter, celebrate a hard day on the slopes refueling with appetizer specials and play a game of pool. Or have a craft beer, relax and have your kids enjoy our huge game room which includes two pool tables, and video games: including Big Buck Hunter Safari, Golden Tee, Ms Pack Man, Galaga and Two side by side Snowcross racing games.
If you enjoy sports, Rimrock’s was made for watching the big game or finding a sport that may be a little bit obscure. (Lets just say that if you can’t find an event, we just may be able to help you out.) We consider ourselves an interactive sports bar and other than going to the game in person, we are confident that your needs will be met. “We take our sports seriously. Big TV’s, HD, plenty of seats and sound for the game are a must. We have most of the major sports packages and there isn’t a bad seat in the house.
After 10pm Rimrock’s hosts the most consistent nightlife in Stowe. A cozy dance floor and great acoustics always create a great vibe. Local Dj’s get people dancing Friday-Saturday. These DJ’s have been with us for many years and know how to get the place bumping: artistic in style, songs old & new, but always willing to take requests to make your night more enjoyable.
