At Vermont Flannel our flannel is yarn dyed first and then woven to our specifications. Vermont Flannel is a tighter weave than most other flannels. Therefore it does not shrink like regular flannel. It has a shrinkage rate of about 3-5%. That is why Vermont Flannel products look great and offer the same comfortable fit wash after wash. We brush our Vermont flannel on both sides. Brushing flannel on both sides helps guarantee Vermont Flannel feels ultra-soft, on the inside and out. We make this extra effort because your comfort is important to us. Vermont Flannel products are hand-cut and sewn in the U.S.A.
