Vermont Systems Inc. (VSI) is an employee-owned Vermont corporation with headquarters in Essex Junction, Vermont. Here they develop, sell and support the most comprehensive recreation management software solution available in the market today. VSI serves over 1,500 customers internationally, which includes but is not limited to, municipal parks and recreation departments, colleges and universities, golf courses, aquatic centers, and all branches of the U.S. Military.

Vermont Systems was founded in 1985 by father and son, Bob and Giles Willey. In 1988 the first release of their flagship product, RecTrac, was installed at the parks and recreation department of New Britain CT, and shortly thereafter contracted with the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army to manage Base recreational activities. The continuous growth of Vermont Systems has been, in part, due to their dedication to staff, software development and customer support. They are the market leader in their field.

All software development, support, and sales take place through their Vermont Office, where employees are housed within their East and West Campus locations at 8 and 12 Market Place, Essex Jct. VT. 

In 1998 Vermont Systems Inc. became an employee owned company and was one of the State of Vermont’s first 100% ESOP corporations.
