summer we are right beside the Sugarbush Robert Trent Jones Sr.
golf course, a few minutes from the
Vermont Long Trail, close to kayaking, convenient for biking, visiting the fascinating
Shelburne Museum and more. Of course there are many other
things to do year round, including visiting renowned culinary giants like Cabot Cheese and Ben Jerry’s ice cream, touring waterfalls and covered bridges and much more.
The B&B is located on a quiet country road nestled in a hillside forest, surrounded by its gorgeous perennial gardens. You can choose from 9 unique
guest rooms and suites all with fireplaces, A/C, direct dial phones with voice mail, Wi-Fi, HDTV/DVDs, and all with private ensuite bathrooms featuring Jacuzzis and/or steam showers. The B&B also has 3 large public rooms with fireplaces, including a library with a pool table. Check out the

In the morning the sumptuous three-course
breakfast starts with fruit juice, homemade sweet breads or muffins and a specially prepared fruit dish. A tantalizing hot entrée will then give your taste buds an early morning treat. The menu of the day might include Sweet Pepper Scrambled Eggs, Breakfast Casserole, Ginger Pancakes with Lemon Sauce, Pain Perdu (French Toast) with local Mad River Valley Maple Syrup, Asparagus filled Crêpes or Granny's Cheesy Soufflé. And breakfast dessert! Then perhaps pictures are better than words...
In the evenings for dinner you have a choice from among the many excellent
restaurants within a few minutes’ drive from B&B.
West Hill House B&B also hosts
weddings for up to about 50 guests, as well as elopements for a quiet ceremony for just the two of you. It is also an ideal place for your wedding guests to stay to enjoy quiet and comfortable surroundings if your ceremony and reception are being held elsewhere in the valley. With its three large common rooms and dining room, plus a meeting room in the Handsome Red Barn, it is also an ideal location for
small business retreats.
