Located in Northwestern Vermont, near Jay Peak and 11 miles from Canada, The 1906 House was originally built in 1906, owned by a prominent local family until 2014, when established as an inn and events location by Jennifer Neville Bright, a local business owner and interior designer. After extensive restoration, Jennifer was awarded the Preservation award in 2016 for outstanding contributions in the field of historic preservation by the Preservation Trust of Vermont.
We have six bedrooms available for reservations. All rates include a full breakfast featuring local and organic ingredients. Jennifer is also the force behind The Tabor House Inn on Lake Champlain.
Whether it’s bridal showers, wedding ceremonies and receptions, retirement parties, work retreats, holiday parties, and more- we can accommodate your upcoming event in The 1906 House, or in our newly renovated Carriage Barn. The Main House can accommodate groups of up to 40 people across several beautiful gathering rooms on our main floor. The lower floor of the Carriage Barn encompasses spacious rooms for events and will seat up to 120 people. Schedule your wedding, reception, or other gathering at this glorious restored site.
We offer dinners, breakfasts, and fully catered meals by request. We offer catering on site for all special events and we can provide off site catering. We also offer a full bar service featuring local Vermont beers, ciders, and wines. We can cater a romantic dinner at the Inn for two people or for twenty! Our focus is on creating delicious food using as many hyperlocal ingredients as possible.
