The Local 22 and Local 44 News team is committed to gathering and reporting the news that is important to you, your families, and your communities.
We work hard to cover the news in 3 states - Vermont, New York (Essex, Franklin and Clinton Counties) and New Hampshire (Grafton and Sullivan Counties). Our focus is on news that really matters – state and local government, social concerns, education, healthcare, business and the economy. We look for the good things happening in the towns we cover, as well as problems that need to be exposed in order to affect change.
Our team will go the extra mile to bring you an impactful story that is understandable and meaningful. The Local 22 and Local 44 commitment to local news is apparent across the weather department, as seen with our regional weather forecasts and promotion of community events, and among our Sports team; the majority of our coverage involves local high school or college teams or athletes.

WVNY is the local broadcast home to ABC Television Network programming for Vermont, Northeastern New York, and Western New Hampshire. We also carry other quality programming such as Dr. Oz, People’s Court and Inside Edition. WVNY carries Local 22 News at 5am, 6am, 6pm, 7pm and 11pm Monday-Friday, plus 6:30pm and 11pm Saturday-Sunday.
WFFF is the local broadcast home to FOX Television Network programming for Vermont, Northeastern New York, and Western New Hampshire. We also carry other quality programming such as The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, and Thursday Night Football. WFFF carries Local 44 News at 7-9 am and 10pm Monday-Friday, plus 10pm Saturday-Sunday.
