This charming slice of real Vermont, located right on Route 100 in Waterbury, is where you can visit a real Vermont barn and watch real Vermonters pressing real fresh cider year-round on an old-fashioned rack-and-cloth press. Enjoy a FREE fresh cider tasting, as well as samples of cider jelly (Cold Hollow is one of only two outfits in the country that still make it) and authentically crafted mustards, jams, and jellies. While here, pick up breads and treats from the Mill’s fresh on-site “made from scratch” bakery. You can also watch legendary cider donuts being made daily and visit the live observation beehive. Real Vermont honey and Vermont Maple Syrup are always on hand. Right next door is our Apple Core Luncheonette – and Cold Hollow’s own real Vermont hard ciders. The Apple Core offers homemade fresh bread baked daily.
