Event Description: The Vermont Festival of the Arts is a month-long 120 event celebration of the Arts in the Mad River Valley each August from the 1st through Labor Day, with exhibits, performances, workshops and demonstrations, from a simple pottery workshop to a world class musical performance. These are multi-media, multi-dimensional, mult-age events that are perfect for all ages and mid-week visitors, weekend guests, second-homeowners, local residents and and all Vermonters. Event costs, times and locations vary.


Directions:
Trying to get to the Valley? Looking at a Vermont map you can see we are just about in the middle of the State, 20 miles north of Montpelier, the State Capital, and 45 miles south east of the airport in Burlington. Route 100 & 100B follow the Mad River through the valley. A printed booklet of each event will be available throughout the Mad River Valley, Vermont. The locations of events vary. There will be an information booth at the Waitsfield Farmers Market on Route 100 at the Green of the Mad River Shopping Center which starts in mid-May to mid-October.
