Event Description: Join us for the annual Vermont Grape & Wine Council’s Open House Weekend! The Open House Weekend is a great way for you to taste wine made from grapes such as Marquette and La Crescent, delicious ice ciders, honey mead, and fruit wines; tour vineyards all across the state and learn about winemaking in cold climates. We’ll have two free cheeses to sample and discount wine tastings for only $5. Please note: On Saturday, August 16th (the first day of the Open House Weekend), we have a private party in the tasting room from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Fear not! We will still be serving up wine and cheese at this time, however, it will be outside in the vineyard. Once 1:00 pm rolls around, the tasting room will open up and we can continue the festivities indoors. Sunday, August 17th has no schedule conflicts.
